Privacy notice

This notice covers the home-project price guide funnel at quotes.projectpricepoint.com, run by Project Price Point ("we", "us"). It is written for visitors in the United States. The main site, projectpricepoint.com, has its own privacy policy. Questions: email hello@projectpricepoint.com.
What we collect
- Your answers. The project you pick, whether you own or rent, your home type, your timeframe and your priority. We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or street address.
- Your ZIP code. Used to look up your city and state so we can point you to costs for your area.
- Ad identifiers. If you arrived from an ad, the link carries the ad, ad set and campaign IDs and Meta's click ID (fbclid). We keep them so we know which ad brought you here.
- Technical data. Browser type, the time of each step and a random session ID that exists only for your visit.
How we use it
- To show you price guides and options that match the project and area you told us about.
- To measure the funnel: which steps people reach and which links they tap. These events go to our automation provider (n8n) for our own reporting.
- To measure our ads. The Meta Pixel receives the name of each step and its number only. It never receives your answers, your ZIP code or your city.
Who else receives information
- Service providers that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting), n8n (event reporting) and Meta (ad measurement, as described above).
- The sites we link to. The price guides open on a partner content site, and "Get a local quote" takes you to a third-party quote service. From that point their privacy policies apply, and anything you enter there goes to them, not to us.
We don't sell your personal information for money. Sharing with Meta for ad measurement may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some U.S. state privacy laws; the next section explains how to opt out.
Cookies
The Meta Pixel sets cookies (_fbp and _fbc) to measure ads. We set no other cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the funnel works without them.
Your choices
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out: the Meta Pixel is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta.
- Email us. Send "Opt out" to hello@projectpricepoint.com and we will stop sharing data about your visits for advertising.
- Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to withdraw consent. Because we don't collect names or contact details, we may need the date and approximate time of your visit to find your records. Email us to make a request. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights.
How long we keep information
Event records are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and for our records.
Children
This funnel is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
